Moonshine was made by fermenting any kind or starch or sugar product. Then distilling it. The product of the distillation is alcohol.

the hard part is controlling the temp. alchohol evaporates at 140 degree far. to hot you get water in the mix. there are many good mash recipes on line. the equipment can be bought or made. no car batterys or radiators needed. The atf will fine you or worse if you get caught so I don"t recommend it. Good shine is a pleasure to sip and there are still a lot of folks in Geogia, the carolinas and tenn making it.

Why don't you make homemade beer or wine? It's legal...at least in most states. It's illegal to make moonshine.

something to do with corn, battery acid and a car radiator. and it does taste like battery acid, i wouldnt even try to make that stuff
