Maybe she knows of a trait in your family that you all cannot react well w/ gin. It stinks, anyway.

Ive known many drinkers through the years, and many of them have said that gin makes them drunk in a more emotional way than other alcoholic drinks. I know this was true for me, as well. I was always happy/friendly when drinking, but with gin, I got argumentative and mean. I never drink gin anymore.

ha ha ha ha ha! Because different types of alcohol affect people in different ways. That must be her response to gin. As long as we are dishing out disclaimers, it also might make you weepy, 10 feet tall and bulletproof, or rico suave. The only way to know is to try it.

Gin is merely juniper-flavored vodka.
If alcohol makes you emotional -- as it does many folks -- any flavor will do the trick.

Yes I agree maybe it affects her in that way or some one else related to you. I doubt it would make you emotional inless you are already a emotional person.
