he has asked you to go to his office for a reason, he obviously wants to discuss ways of helping you improve on your next exams. listen to what he has to say and answer honestly, if you need more help tell him, it's his job. he will be pleased to help. you should be honored this prof cares enough to help you succeed in passing your test. you say you are quiet, please speak out and talk to the prof.

follow his lead answer his questions forthrightly. Do not volunteer any information or excuses. Sit in front of his desk with your hands folded in your lap. do not fidget.Sit up straight. Look him in the eye. I think he wants to help you. No worries. However if you are concerned about being alone with him, take a friend along and ask them to wait just outside the door. Ask that the door be left open.

Maybe he just needs to ask you some questions on your test...if you are just nervous about going to his office, ask someone to accompany you or just go to class the next day and tell him you forgot to come and just talk to him then.

He'll probably just talk to you about what you did to study and try to give you advice on how to study better and improve your grade. Even if you're quiet, don't worry - nothing to be afraid of.

If he asked you to come into his office, maybe he has something to say. Just go in, and see how it goes.

Just tell him the truth. You need to have your professor working with you to pass this class. This is not about pleasing him. It is about helping you.
