Hey you all, as stated, I'm a senior in college, 22 years old, and yet "bathroom humor" still cracks me up like it would a third grader. What I mean by bathroom humor is...for instance...when someone takes a poop so big it clogs the toilet, or general fart jokes, and things like that. I always laugh about these things until tears come...it's that funny! I'll give another example - in creative writing class in high schoool, I wrote a story about a businessman, and in one part, THREE pages (I'm not exaggerating) are about him taking a dump at work and clogging the toilet! And yet someone told me all that is more "middle school stuff". So, am I really immature or are there other guys my age or older who still laugh about that kind of stuff?

No, it's normal. My husband and I are in our 30's and stiff find it funny. Maybe not as funny as you find it, but still funny. We even downloaded fart noises the other day just for the heck of it. Some people are uptight and have no sense of humor at all. Don't fret about it, just keep being who you are.

When I was in college there was a talent night, and this guy told a funny story about how he could burp on command (by swallowing air). So he thought if he held in enough air how he would have the biggest fart. The humor part was that with the fart not just air would come out so he couldn't find a bathroom. (I'm guessing you get the picture). So, keep yourself young and you will get a girl that appreciates you and your humor (contrary to a previous answer).

Sometimes, things like that strike me as hilarious too. Other times, I don't think its funny at all. I guess it would depend on how desperate I am for a good laugh.
THREE pages on a bathroom visit-- WOW- must have been pretty creative. Wonder what grade you got? There are worse things, so don't worry too much about your sense of humor.

Oh, you'd be surprised who all is into bathroom humor. I know a woman in her early sixties who has always been- and still is- eager to tell tales from the water closet. Like the day she made me laugh at the time her cesspool overflowed when she used the wrong kind of toilet paper.

You're asking the wrong question. Of course you're immature in this sense, and you know it. Otherwise, you wouldn't've asked the question. That being given, the question you should have asked is if there's anything wrong with that, and that answer depends on the situation and your surroundings. In a casual situation with friends, this is probably not too bad. In a business setting, leave it alone. But I echo another poster when I say THREE PAGES?! Man.

I know men in their 40's and 50's who still like bathroom humor. In fact these guys are worse than the kids.

Yup! I think that's being immature. Course many adults that are older than you have the same kind of humor and I just don't find that very polite. There are so many things in this world that we can find humor in and still be polite and show SOME maturity.

I don't think its that immature. But if you are broguth to tears by something thats not that funny then that is slightly silly of you, but not immature.
