Slow down. Speaking fast sounds nervous. Pause between sentences. And lower your voice -- lower both your volume (use your indoor voice, but not too low that they can't hear you), and lower your sqeaky tone.

By slowing down and talking calm and by relaxing the art of good speech is breathing correctly and also listen to others don't just do all the talking. Talking over the phone is easier than talking in person exspecailly when it involves anger or confrontation.

Practice. In front of a mirror or a friend/relative. Imagine the person IS your friend/relative. I have a job waitressing & I act like these are pp I've invited into my home. It can be tough at first, but it gets easier!

Think of what question you might be asked and rehearse the answers over and over again. Practice makes perfect.

Be more confident. Think about what you are going to say. Take a deep breath and ....... go for it.
