This is my second day of being on Zyrtec and Singulair for allergic rhinitis. I also take Astelin and Nasonex. This afternoon about 2 hours after taking Singulair I started having peculiar back pain. I don't see this side effect listed on the websites of these medications. Has anyone else ever had something like this?

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if it's the Singulair. My daughter had some side effects from taking Singulair, they are not listed on the paper that comes with the product. Go to this web-site, there are hundreds of stories on here from people who have had problems with Singulair. I know it works well for some people, but the side-effects others experience are really bad.

I never heard about this side effect with your combination of medicines. I would say that you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

I take both, and have taken them for at least a year. I have never had any problems with them. I would check into something else.
