The saying is that the best makers of Zinfandel have names starting with the letter 'R'. That means Ravenswood, Renwood, and Ridge.

Ravenswood have good basic Zins under $20.

I assume you are talking red Zin.

Folie a Deux Amador Zinfandel is wonderfull and about $14 a bottle.

Wild Horse in Paso Robles makes a great one. Nice and jammy.

Cline has great Zin as well as Rafinelli in Sonoma County.

Personally, any zin from the Central Coast of California is the best.

If you have the chance, check out the ZAP fest in San Francisco in February. tons of zin producers all in one spot.

Never pay 10 dollars for any Zinfadel 20 better grapes around

Nobody pays more than 5 for Zinfadel outside US.

White ´Zinfadel is a big laugh white wine from red grape, mention any othe country doing that....

Pontac left out Rosenblum, most of their zins are really good.

But, my choice is Seghesio Sonoma County from 2002 or 03.

Assuming you mean RED zin, I would say Farleigh. At about $15, its one of the best zins under $20: a big fruit & spice bomb.
