I have 2 written versions and they are different than on-line versions. Why?

It could be when they were printed, revisions, updates.

It could be the publisher that provided them.

My NKJV on my desk and the one on line are different also.

There are as many different versions of the versions as there are versions of the bible.

There are WAY more than two versions of the
New Living Translation.

The Basic (Protestant)
The Study (men's version and women's version)
The Student
The Catholic
The Catholic Study
The Devotional (for men, for women, for daily and One Year)
The Teen (iConnect, The Metal Bible, The Jesus Version)
The Life Application
The Abundant Live
"The Book" - their most well known version
etc...

Many people have re-written the Bible to make it easier to read. The only real version is the King James Version, originally published in 1611. Alot of the new versions leave parts of the original script out.

You should get the New Jerusalem Bible.

It is more historically accurate b/c it is taken from the dead sea scrolls.
