I don't know if different alcohols effect you different, I'd say it's different peoples body that react differently. That's why sometimes you have a guy who is a happy drunk and then you can have the some guy who wants to kick everybodies ***. If I'm drinking Bourbon enough that I get drunk, it's the same as if I was knocking down Vodka. Different alcohols but still effect me the same.

Different alcohols will have different effects because every drink will have a different alcohol percentage. It doesnt really matter if you mix your drinks, your stomach is full of ACID anyway. The way it will effect a person depends on gender, weight, mood, if food has been eaten, amount of water drunk, other drugs illicit or prescription in system, amount of sleep person has had, how often a person drinks... and i could go on. Everyone is different when it comes to alcohol...it is a legalised drug (technically)

It should all be ethyl alcohol. On the other hand a beer buzz seems different than wine, which seems different than Vodka or whiskey. All part of the wonderful world of altered states of consciousness that we visit once in a while. Salut!

I've found that some types of hard alcohol will make me feel really buzzed without impairing my motor skills too badly( e.g. vodka), while others will impair my motor skills without giving me any sort of noticeable buzz (e.g. peppermint schnapps). Mixing alcohols can make them taste better, but I don't have enough experience to determine if it effects me differently. It's different for every person though.

I have no clue why it occurs, in spite of the undeniable fact that it actually does. I relatively tend to be a Jack and coke drinker, or Budweiser. Me and a pal of mine are ingesting friends, and he has a tendency in the direction of vodka or bud easy. We act an identical while ingesting what we adore,(buzzed and having relaxing) yet while we swap liquids, I relatively tend to get incredibly wild and he has a tendency to get confrontational.

The effects are all the same no matter what you drink. Its the strength of the drink and how much you consume that makes the difference.

I'm not sure about the science behind it but I know I can handle my vodka (to a certain extent!) but the minute I drink rum I'm knocked spark out!
