I think I have a spirit in my house now. I was casting spells 2 nights ago and now weird things are happening in my room, where I perform all my spiritual acts..I think it's friendly but it keeps opening and closing my door and screwing around with my electronics. Did I let something in? HELP!!!

Whenever you practice the Craft you enlist the help of your surroundings. It is possible that if they came because of your workings and you were not aware that they were there, you did not bid them good bye. It is important when spirits come to assist you, that you allow them to leave. If they can't they are bound to that place until you do. I suggest that you enter the room, create a circle, thank them for being there and bid them leave in peace. That should solve your problem. Blessed Be

I can't tell for sure, but based on your description, I think that your creature is an imp. They aren't evil, but they are mischevious.

I'd recommend casting a cleansing spell. If you can, burn some sage; the smoky vapor usually clears the ether around you. You may also burn a black candle at this time to absorb the imp(s) and banish it from your room. Note: most imps do not act alone and will often form a nest somewhere in your room.

Good luck and blessed be

Boy I am sure glad these people are non-judgemental! I'd sure hate to see it if they were! I agree with Pagan Rebirth & Orchid. Cleansing would be the best way to go. And do be more careful next time. These things can find so many ways in, but only if invited. Even if you don't know you are doing it! Any little gap will do. I have a wonderful little spirit in my house, not one who really messes with anything (except my cats). Take care
Blessed Be! )O(

I have a hard time imagining a good spirit messing with you like that. How does your home feel now? Do you feel peaceful?

Um, I'm not too familiar with what a Wiccan would do in this situation. In my religion we would get a priesthood holder to re-dedicate the home for good in a prayer, is there anything similar you can do?

Always cleanse the area before and after a spell. Maybe your circle was not strong enough. Perform a cleansing and see if the spirits stay.
Blessed Be.

Say this out loud with confidence:

Unwelcomed spirit, I command you to leave my home, in the name of Jesus. Every door that I have opened with my spell casting, I close now in the name of Jesus.
Let the spirit of God replace that unwelcomed spirit right now.

I am a Christian, but I think you let something unfriendly in there.I can't help you as for how to get it out, because I don't know that much about Wicca. What ever you decide to do though,be careful! Good luck!

Edit: Wow,orchid and pagan rebirth, those were really cool answers!

If I were to answer this question with my usual snark, I would say to choose a less valuable card to take the imp's damage, one you won't mind sending to the graveyard. However, since I'm being nice, I guess maybe whatever purification ritual is used in your faith. Hope the problem gets fixed.

There are some good answers here, I would ask what type of spell you cast, because it would influence any answer I could give.
