The effect of light is well known -when it is completely dark your mind and body shut down in measurable ways. When the Moon is full there is light late into the night. All animals are likely to be more active and that leads to a more exciting time - especially in mid winter when the days are already so short.

Most scientific studies were performed by people who wish to prove that the full moon has no effect on humans.

However, over the years, there has been a vast correlation seen between the behavior of people and the full moon. The term "lunatic" is based upon observations of people over centuries.

I have often heard from patrol police, nurses and doctors in mental health institutions and Emergency rooms, that there does seem to be a wider range of actions and behavior during a full moon.

Ask a teacher when the moon is full. They will usually know too.
The menstral period that women have is affected by the pull of the moon. The moon affects us humans as well as other creatures on Earth.
