It is recomended by the company to paint this type of fiberglass door (feather river), it already has a primer on it.

They make specialized spray paints for all types of uses. You'd just want to get the right one. If you brush paint it, make sure you use a proper primer first. Which you use mostly depends on what type of finish you want and if you can get the color you want.

You really are not supposed to paint fiberglass doors, but you will find that the best approach is to brush on an oil based paint.

use a very short nap roller or a foam roller as previously mentioned...use an oil based industrial enamel....valspar makes a very good one,and apply two coats....painting contractor

I've used a small foam roller on mine and it left a nice finish!
