of all the answers only one was against the use of guns but it was deleted,it was not abusive and it did not contain bad language why was it deleted?

i say that only law enformcment should own guns....not like typical people. thats how guns get stolen and ppl get shot

Most Americans are not obsessed with guns. I live in Florida and I own a .38 special handgun. Its easy to buy a gun in Florida. In Chicago, where I am from, it is illegal to own or posess firearms, and in many of the suburbs too. The only people who own guns in Chicago are criminals. There are gang shootings every day in Chicago and othe big cities. Maybe if some innocent citizens had guns they would be less victimized.
I am all for people possesing guns. That does not make me obsessed with guns.
If I know 100 people (which I don't), probably 5 would own guns. Most Americans aren't into them. Now in rural areas, more people own guns, for hunting, wild animal control, etc. But most city people don't have them, believe me.

don't know - perhaps it was offensive or against the TOS. The Yahoo boards are privately owned and they make their own rules. You have no right of free speech.
Americans are not necessarily obsessed with guns, they are obsessed with not giving up their rights. This is why I am a proud member of the NRA and ACLU. Both organizations who think individual rights are more important than the rights of the government and two-bit bureaucrats.

USA Is a broad statement. My wife, her sister, her dad, cant stand guns. I have 2 guns. I am not obsessed with it.

We are not obsessed with guns, it is just that others are paranoid about them. Like my Glock will magically go out tonight and shoot people.
