You shouldn't be using the opening yet so I wouldn't worry about it. When you are 18 you will probably see a gynecologist for a pap smear and they will let you know if there is a problem. I'm sure you have been this way since birth and doctors and mom probably already know. I doubt there is anything wrong with you. That hole stretches with use.

I love how people are telling you it's 'gross' not to wear a bra. Yes, the female human body is definitely disgusting and should be completely covered up at all costs. Sarcasm. I'm an 18 year old female with c cup breasts and even I DON'T wear a bra a lot of the time. If you feel better without one, don't wear one. I don't give two s**** about what people say. My body is natural and I am exercising my freedom to be comfortable with my own self. People are brainwashed by society to believe women have to be a certain way.

Girlfriend --
You are 16 YEARS OLD WHY!!! are you concerned about your vaginal size???? Have you??? you know. At your age you should be concerned about YOU>> It sounds like your concern is that the male insertion is going to insult you. No you don't have a big problem. Your problem is focusing, I think, focusing on letting yourself be 16 - enjoying life, creating your future, looking at your spiritual path and saying NO - I'm a little experienced in that department and trust me it got me no where. I am now 57 - Give yourself some time.

because you are 16, i'm not going to be rude about this.
You do realize that 10 pound babies come from vaginas?
You do realize that a woman must dialate 10cm to give birth?
Now, can you stand there with a straight face and tell me that the openning is to small?? Does that make sense to you?
And your friend, that you let have a look, is a bigger moron than you. Before you worry about putting fingers inside of it, why don't you go to some sex-ed classes.
Questions like this just make me think that you d@mn kids will amount to nothing.
Okay, guess I wont be nice with my answer.

Stop listening to your friends, if you have a medical/physical question ask a doctor. Your friend doesn't sound like "the brightest crayon in the box" and if you're actually listening to her that makes you even less bright.

I dont think its that big of a deal since your not using it yet. If your really worried about it, just say that you need to talk to your mom, and tell her your problem.

I am pretty sure that is normal because you are young and have not used it yet. If you are really concerned about it I would tell your mom and go see a OBGYN.

first of all you should be discussing this with your mom. she needs to take yo to your primary care physician and have them look at it, to see if it is normal, if not they can refer you to a specialist who can take care of that. i work for a pediatrician's office and we have people with the same problem come in. your not alone, but you do need to talk to your mom about this, not people over the computer......good luck
