the upper top back of my throat is really really dry. and it kind of hurts nothing I drink solve the dryness and it feels like cotton. just started an hour ago. whats happening and how do I fix it.

It sounds as though you're coming down with a cold or possibly a throat infection. Since this has apparently come on rather suddenly, I'd put money on it being a strep infection. If it's still hurting by the time your doctor's office opens, call them and make an appointment to be seen; if it's just a virus, there's no harm done, and if it's strep, it should be treated promptly.

You're probably coming down with a cold or sinus infection. Even though drinking doesn't help the feeling, keep taking in a lot of fluid. It's important to stay hydrated when you have a virus or bacterial infection.

yea i think you might be getting a cold, i had that feeling b4 too, if you dont come down w/ a cold in the next 3 days, and your still having this promble talk to your doctor you might have somthing else.
and it could have also has to deal with what you ate, that has happen b4 when i ate somthing then i got that feeling.

Haha I have that problem right now. It's called a cold buddy. Rinse your mouth with mouthwash frequently and take some cold medicin.

Try inhaling steam through your mouth.....Boil a pot of water and put a towel over your head, bend over the pan and inhale through your mouth...Be Careful with the pan that you don't get burned...
