Many Evangelical preachers teach that Gog and Magog are Russia, and that Russia will lead a force of many nations against Israel at the battle of Armegeddon.
However, Revelation is not to be taken literally when it is clearly being symbolic. Babylon is a confusion of false religion. It is not physical Babylon. The beast in Revelation represents the antichrist. The second beast in Revelation 13 represents the false prophet etc. Therefore, Gog and Magog in Revelation are not real countries but represent something or someone.
After the millenium, all the wicked are raised from the dead to receive their sentencing. The righteous are with Christ inside the Holy City which came down from God out of heaven. Satan, in a last desperate attempt to claim the throne of Christ for his owm, stirs up the forces of evil men to assault the Holy City. This is what is called the forces of Gog and Magog. Fire from heaven falls and devours the advancing forces. This is known as hellfire. Satan and his evil angels will also perish in the lake of fire known as hell. Then the earth will be made new, forever free from the curse of sin.
