Am I of dutch decent if my last name is Holland, or could that last name be from somewhere else?

Maybe, maybe not. My last name is Latin, but none of my family is Latin (my father's family came from Scotland). You would have to research your family tree to know.

You might be from way, way back, but it is a name which I have encountered in England and it is also an Anglo-Irish name. Oscar Wilde's family changed their name to Holland after the big trouble.

Probably Dutch, possibly Danish.
