Okay, I me and my bf just broke up less than a week ago. We are totally fine now, we are really good friends. So, I have this crush on his friend, let's call him Bob. My ex finds out, and without my permission, asks Bob out for me! I feel very awkward, because I need more time to get over this break-up with my ex completely. And my ex keeps on butting in, like he bugs me and Bob and makes us feel awkward. My questions are, should I break it off with Bob and tell him I need some time to get over my ex, and why do you think my ex is butting in like this?

i think you should talk to your ex first about how he shouldn't be butting in. then talk to bob and let him now how you need more time.

tell bob that you need some time to get over your break up. That when you are ready that you will tell him(Bob). Maybe you and bob could work somthing out. Maybe your boyfriend is butting because he may still have feeling for you or not maybe because he knows how bob is and he does not want you to get hurt.

I think your ex is trying to annoy you. Yes if there is already a awkward moment with "bob" you should leave it alone at least for later when it not so wierd so youll can start all over without your ex in the way and your ex is probley doing this too because he wants to really know if your over him by seeing if you will get with Bob if you dont get with bob he will know your not over him.

Not sure why your ex is so adamant about the two of you dating. Maybe the two of you can continue dating, but ask your ex (politely of course) to let you two take your time in getting to know each other. There is nothing worse than feeling pressured to get into a relationship when you are not ready. Take your time. If you don't want to date Bob right now, but you think you could entertain dating him in the future, let him know, but don't be upset if he moves on while you are healing.

Maybe BF (let's call him Gary) wants Bob to get it on with you
because he doesn't think much of you as a person or maybe he
wants to find out mean things you may tell Bob about Gary then
Bob tells Gary and all Hell breaks loose. Stay away from Both
of them and hang out with your girlfriends or find something to keep you busy and maybe someone better than both of them will just happen to be there when you're ready

sounds like to me he is jelious.... there is an old saying friends make the best lovers which is true but lovers dont make the best friends.. but i would tell bob that its not a good idea because of him being really good friends maybe you two try it but make it a secret...fun and exciting.... and the ex wont know so he wont butt in

Tell Bob to ask your ex to stopp being so involved. Or don't date ex boyfriends buddies.

I would go out with Bob and start a rumour that you slept with him and that he is so much better than your ex.

He's not over the fact that you guys broke up so he believes that by acting OK with you and his friend going out you'll think he's COOL with it... but I can assure you he's not. Maybe you should wait a little before dating his friend... or maybe u should date somebodyelse.
