After being in the Army as Chaplain Assisant (56M) what is a job in the Catholic Church that you would be qualified to do w/ a little or no more training/education? (Youve been a Catholic all my life; have gone through all the sacraments INCLUDING MARRAIGE)

..Nothing to do w/ the question lol but

The Priest doesnt directly "forgive" your sins. Some people have trouble w/ confession, and the Priest helps you ask Jesus. Your not asking the Priest, your asking Jesus

They have what is called a corporate chaplain.
My husband's company uses one. They come in & talk with employees about problems - family, moral, deaths in families & whatever the employees need help with. He looks for signs of abuse or acoholism & etc. The employee decides whether they want to meet with him. He is a subcontractor of sorts not an employee, so he never answers to company just individual.

I do not agree with the whole priest forgiving sins thing...

It does not say anywhere priests can forgive sins, and I do believe that if you have not asked Jesus to forgive your sins, you will go to hell.
