Some say that those who share the gospel with those who believe differently and dont "accept" them are not real christians....but that is like telling someone you love "its ok if you will be separated from God forever, I still love you" --That is NOT love! Love is telling them the good news! Not giving up hope on them! Praying for them! Not joining in with what they believe- not telling them its "ok" if they believe something that is against God and what the Bible says- So what is a Christian? Someone who FOLLOWS Christ-

Did I say shove? No. I said SHARE- that is love when you want to share the truth, because you care about what happens to people....

Jesus Himself asked Peter, "Do you love me? ...then feed my sheep!"
Love is not turning our backs to our brothers and sisters who do not know Christ (though it often times involves less conflict and persecution). That is the opposite of love (and it is sad that such apathy toward the calling to share the Gospel often comes under the deceptive banner of "tolerance").

What I read out of the bible, we are supposed to be disciples of Christ. The word disciple is used over 300 times in the bible, and christian is used 3 times, and not in a good way I may add. But we are called to obey, love God with all our mind, soul, body and strength, and to preach the gospel message to the lost.

You are fallible. The other person is fallible. Communication between you is fallible. Whatever a real Christian is, they might be it, and you might not know it.
You are not entitled to judge the beliefs of other people, only your own.
The world is filled with people trying to impose their beliefs on others. Trying to outshout the others, out-proselytize the others, is not Christianity.
I think Christians should proclaim their faith by being truly kind and truly loving, truly forgiving, and answering questions about faith WHEN THEY ARE ASKED.... as they surely will be, if they adhere to the best of Christianity.
Judgement about these matters belongs to someone besides you, my friend.

The original name came from the meaning 'a follower of Christ'. Today I think this still holds true. This does not mean 'people who go to a certain church' or 'those who say they are followers', a Christian IS a follower of Christ.

I believe that a real christian is the one who believe that god is always watching over him, try to have good deeds, think about the last day while he is alive, also religion is not only about believe, its about how to make life better, your life and others' as well, be tolerant just like Jesus, in Arabic we call Jesus as "Maseeh", and it means the eraser, meaning the one who erased sins of humans, and in my Qua-ran, as i am Muslim, god says he loves Jesus just like Adam, the first human he created.
I believe its all about finding peace.

Following Christ means loving God with all your heart, soul, body, and mind, and loving your neighbor as yourself. We shouldn't shove the Bible down someone's throat, but instead we should just show them Christ's love and pray for them.

I would have to say loving all people would be a requirement, and really, who can do that? No way I can, and certainly no way you or anyone else could. I guess none exist.
