Possibly arthritis, but could be lots of things. I and many others on here are not doctors and that is who he needs to see. It could be something really silly and hes worrying for nothing or something that is best to know about sooner rather than later. Tell him to make an appointment with his GP asap.

Need to change his diet to include more vegetables and fruits. Also needs to cut back on meat intake. Either have him start drinking a warm cup of cayenne powder from an herb store or have him go to herbdoc.com and find out for himself how to alleviate his aches and pains.

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a possibility, but get to a GP to check it out. Take Cod Liver Oil tablets to improve joint movement.

I would suggest that he goes to his GP and gets advice. The earlier he gets a correct diagnosis the earlier he can start treatment.

get him to the doctors love. self-diagnosis can really mess you up! especially if it is meningitis or something else nasty.
it seems pretty clear that leaving it isnt doing him any favours and its not getting better by itself.

If he has put up with it for six months without consulting a doctor, your boyfriend is not too bright. He could be developing rheumatoid arthritis, and the sooner he gets treatment, the better off he will be.

Tell him to ask his dr for a blood test for fibromyalgia or polymyalgia. It can be treated.
