Why do some people in the U.S think that just because an Atomic bomb worked on Japan it will work on everyone?Japan only
gave up because they could not watch their people suffer like that.Their military was still a little capable enough to pull the war
to another 2 years or so.Then once their military is defeated they would use rebels like in Iraq currently.But is it not stuiped when some patriots think that they can end a war like in Japan by simply nuking nuking a country.They have become arrogant with their victory over Japan.Jut think a nuclear bomb dropped on Tehran
or Pyongyang and a few hundred thousands die.Do you really think those countries will sign a peace treaty and give up?

It worked then and it would work now. Not that it should be done but it would work the same way. Drop a bomb, cause a government to give up so as not to have another one dropped on them. It's pretty simple but hopefully it will never happen again.

Easy killer... I was stating my opinion just as you were. No reason to get crazy. Maybe you should brush up on a few things. The threat of a nuclear war is what keeps people from using them. It is bad for everyone. In a country that is as small as N. Korea a few nuclear bombs would decimate the country leaving little if any resistance. Who would they go and fight after a few bombs drop? Us? Doubtful... How would they get here?

Again, cool down. Relax. Enjoy life a little more and stop freaking out about things you really have no control over.

I will have to agree. An atomic bomb takes responsibility and people who just want to nuke countries just because does not have this responsibility. Japan is still a little recovering from the effects of the bombs drop on it. Besides if we just to kill a hundred thousand innocent people just put Saddam Hussein back in power at least then the chemicals he would use won't effect the environment. Us Americans need to stop thinking so patriotic and stop thinking global. We are already the most hated country in the world why instead of trying to regain some respect back, would we just destroy other countries that's just plain stupidity and if that's not stupidity then I don't know what is.

i agree. they sound as if nuking some one will just solve the problem. BACK THEN, during world war 2, it worked cuz no one else had the atomic bomb. therefore our enemies' allies could not nuke us back. whereas, nowadays, if we were to nuke someone, their allies would nuke us back, causing our allies to nuke them, and thus a vicious cycle occurs eventuall leading to nuclear holocaust. so yes, it is dumb to say nuking those countries will work, cuz today it wont. 50 years ago it might have.

For one, if we had to use nukes on NK, it would be a strike that would leave them unable to attack anything but the MRE's our troops would throw them. If they don't provoke us, they won't get nuked.
