If you have a Catholic bible, I highly recommend the Book of Wisdom. It's one of the most beautiful books there is. Too bad Martin Luther pulled it...
The link below provides the Book of Wisdom from the Douay Rheims bible.
It's true that the Jewish word for Spirit (I think ruach or something similar to that) is in a feminine tense. But the Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity. And thus God. Not Goddess.

Romans 8:27, "And HE that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because HE maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."
1 Corinthians 12:11, "But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as HE will."
There are many more but you get the idea. Holy Spirit is a HE, not a SHE.

Yes, Holy Spirit is female (not a woman) and Mother God (not a godess, part of the Trinity, the Mother)//The translation from one language got changed The Spirit (ruach, like the girls above said) is female. In the old testament wisdom is referred to as she and also God says He turned from our Mother//
I agree female so I cannot proof you wrong.. people seem very set on the Spirit being male, but for understanding when Jesus speaks to me this insight has helped me//(fairy God Mother in fairy tales,,,Mother, She in rocksongs.._)
Love

I think that god would have to be a women if god really did exist because of the whole creation thing. Man cannot create life but women can. I think god is a women for sure. I am a man too not just some upperty lesbian woman.

Hate to disillusion you, but you can search all through the scriptures and will not find any reference to a Goddess of anything. You may find a priestess however.

They are a trinity.....IE: Three in ONE. So, if the other two are male (God the FATHER, Jesus his SON) why would the third be female? If it's not male, then it's just an escense, not FEMALE!
Please: Female caused the fall.
