i think that was very nice of him don't listen to those that think he wants something. i think that he wants to have a good relationship with you because if the child thinks mom and dad get along then they won't hold a grudge to either parent like alot of kids these days do. if they think my mom hates my dad so i hate my dad. i think you two are being very responsible in showing that you both care about your child. get him a gift certificate for gasoline or to a restaurant. keeping a good relationship with your ex that's the best gift you could give him

Write him a letter and tell him how much you appreciate having a good relationship with him even though you're divorced. That is better than the trip to Disney World and truly something to be admired.

I'm inclined to think that his intention was for his daughter to enjoy a "family vacation" with her two favorite people and I would write a thoughtful note thanking him for just that. You and your daughter are very lucky ladies!

I think a nice note telling him how much you appreciated the trip and how much fun you had would be nice. If you have a good picture of the two of them from the trip, get in enlarged and have it framed and give it to him with the thank you note.

What were his 4 favorite things, besides sex, when you were married? Fix him up a little basket with these things and a little teddy bear. You could put on the card attached: "That was beary thoughtful of you...thanks!" I'll bet he'll love it.

That is a very nice thing for him to do! Are you sure he doesn't want something? LOL - Just kidding! Just make sure he knows how much you appreciated it. Send him a thank you or something. If you were married to him, you know his likes - don't try to get him something big, it would be like a competition. Just let him know you really appreciate it. :)

Well maybe he took you along because he wants to get back with you and as for thanking him for your daughter its his child too , it was nice but just a simple thank you very much would do.

First of all, why did you agree to spend 8 days with your ex, even though your daughter was also there? You can just say thanks but after all of the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ he spent - I'm sure a 'thanks' will just not be enough. Men feel that if you let them do something nice for you then they own you. He's probably sitting back saying to himself 'I've got her back now. We'll be a family again'. If you most defiantely never wish to be married to him ever again then arrange to pay for half of the vacation. Next time he offers, say thanks but no thanks.
