God uses a lot of symbolism in dreams. This website has helped me a lot. There are a lot of common dream symbols and what they could possibly mean backed by scripture. You also have to ask God to help you with the interpretation and dont go solely on what you read. I keep a dream journal and write all of my dreams down. Sometimes you don't get the full interpretation right away. God will reveal it to you at just the right time. He is so awesome. Anyway, the website is www.tehillah.org She also wrote a book that you can download for only $5 or so. Hope this helps.

There is a Christian dream-interpretation website. I can't think of the name of it, but I bet you could goggle it.
God often speaks to people through their dreams, although not all dreams come from God. The people who have the website came and spoke at my church, and it was very interesting stuff. Water is a symbol for the Holy Spirit. Birds represent sin, except for doves. If you study the Bible, a lot of the symbols that come up in dreams are in there.

Dreams don't really have any meaning except to yourself.
While certain Bible personalities had meaningful dreams, today God speak to us generally in the Bible or directly through the indwelling Holy Spirit. Why use smoke signals when everyone has cell phones?
