I know what you're thinking, "She's a hypochondirac!" So far I've asked questions about major headaches that I catch now and then, stuttering that I notice have become a little bit worse in the past few months, and now I'm asking about dyslexia.

I work at an airport, so I deal a lot with letters and numbers (what job doesn't?) But I notice that many times when a tail number of a plane is called out to me I will hear or maybe just write down the opposite of what the person is telling me. Is it possible for something to be wrong that may be associated with the other two things that I have complained about or could my getting letters and numbers opposite from what I am told just be out of carelessness?

I know there is a form of dyslexia that deals with numbers rather than letters, but I don't know the name of it. I have the same problem. It's annoying. ::argh::

To graduate the requirement is 6 math credits at my school and you can not do math in 11 grade but that's here. My advice is just take good notes and study hard, hell, right it down somewhere during a test. Anything to pass

good answer, vollyjacket. I mix up numbers. I'm a waitress, so I punch in numbers all day long. Luckily MY WORST MISTAKE was charging someone $64.32 instead of $64.23 (couldnt even believe my boss even caught that!!) My daughter also will transpose numbers, too. I think it's alot more common than you realize, I guess we have to think a little more carefully b4 we act.

My dislexia is very slight, too. I sometimes get p, d, q, b mixed up, especially when I type. Try repeating the letters in your head before you write them down, adding that step might reinforce the order you heard and prevent mistakes.
