I don't know...I am not freaked out about this sort of thing. and if someone thinks I am using them myself then they are idiots.
and I am not freaked out when you discuss your periods because I know what it is and I don't find it disturbing.
and if you think I am gay for saying something like this then remember this, say what you want, it doesn't mean it is true (only put this last part in because some idiots I go to school with think I am gay even though I am not simply because I listen to women's problems)

Men aren't grossed out, boys however are, an adult male shouldn't be disgusted by a woman's body, if they are mature and respect women's bodies there should not be any issue at all – certainly if they are disgusted by women's bodies they shouldn't get near enough to one to be grossed out to begin with!
I've actually found women to be far more disgusted, women are constantly told by advertising and other women that periods are gross/inconvenient/smelly/dirty/painful so are far more likely to freak out about it. I talk about menstruation all the time to my friends, who are all male, and they are completely comfortable with it, in fact they join in with discussions and have no issue with my talking about it at all, they are actually quite interested by it all. I've yet to meet a man who was freaked out by menstruation, women are another story though.
I see women get VERY aggressive if you even mention you are okay with your period. I used to carry a bag around with me that was covered in buttons saying things like 'I bleed' and showing menstrual cups and vagina diagrams. Women would literally get up and walk to another seat on public transport when they saw the bag, often giving me a look of disgust for daring to mention menstruation in public…..men however would not, in fact half the time they would say 'Cool badges!', laugh at the slogans or start talking or asking about them.

Because they're big babies who only like vaginas when they are having sex with them, but can't handle what women deal with on a daily basis.

Ah, Im a girl and I would never even think about discussing this with any man in my life. Thats just like your boyfriend telling you about his manhood and its functions - I really dont need to know. We both know what happens and is there really any point in saying anything about it?
