Next month, I'm scheduled to start treatment for a minor gum infection. If anyone has had it, does it hurt?

IF IT'S MINOR THIS SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM AT ALL. IF IT INVOLVES HAVING SURGERY ON THE GUMS, THERE MAY BE DISCOMFORT AFTER THE ANESTHETIC WEARS OFF.

Depends of what kind of dentist you go to, some stick a needle into your gum to numb it, so it wouldn't hurt, and some do it the old fashoned way, but I think that most of them have both, where you can choose to have eather one!!

It's uncomfortable, but if it bothers you the dentist can numb your gums or give you nitrous.
