My boyfriend and I have plans to go hiking this weekend. He has invited one of his friends (girl) along without asking me if I minded. I was really looking forward to spending the time with just him. Is uninviting her an option? I feel uncomfortable with the whole situation, and now am not wanting to go. Should I say anything? Or just let it go? Am I making a big deal out of nothing?

Actually if this is a mutual friend, go along for the weekend. However, from now on make sure he knows you want to be asked in advance of bringing along a friend. Be kind, and hope the weekend gets over as quick as it started. But make sure he knows. If he does it again, question is, is this the one you want to marry? Have the best weekend possible, make good out of lemon juice.

Just let him know how you feel about it. Don't be possessive, but calmly let him know that you were looking forward to the time alone. If he still wants the friend to go, it's not the end of the world. But no harm in asking.

invite a realy old guy friend - someone ur close wiht and hav inside jokes with. itl either turn into a group thing and u wont feel so alone and awkward, or he'l ask to hike with u alone while the othr 2 go ahead.

well I think he was hoping to set up a 3some with both of you girls.

So.. you have a few options..
you can go and not say anything
you can go after throwing a fit
you can not go and wonder what she will be doing with him
you can not go after throwing a fit and wonder what she will be doing with him

so... if you want to keep him.. I'd go...

Explain to him you wanted that time together and alone with him and ask him to cancel with the friend. He should understand and so should she.

well, just tell him how you feel, then take it from there. if you r jelous, just tell him. im sure if you told him how you felt, he would ask her if they could hang out another time, because it was time for you guys, and he forgot. dont keep your feelings a secrate.
