Hi There,

A girl giving a card to a friend who happens to be a boy is notthing new. Girls like going to malls sitting with friends and chatting and in case they like some thing like a card they will feel nice to give it to their friends in this case it happens to be you.

What you can do here is the next time you guys go out and you kind of like her and feel you would like to take this friendship a step further buy her a card with some nice words written in it. Words matters to girls believe me. But in case you just want to be friends... just pay the bill and continue with the chatting.

It could be that she is interested in you as a boy friend or it could be that she just likes you as a friend. one way of decieding iswhat did you two chat about during those four hour? if she was asking you bout "you" (that includes hobies, like dislikes, your family) and telling bout herself (the same explanation as above) then this might(yes only might, not sure) mean that she is interested.

If you guys just talked about general things like college, mutual friends, your professors, subjects, career plans etc etc, then no matter if you chatted for 4 hours or 4days, she was just chatting with you as a friend( may be bcoz she dint have anything better to do)

now we come to the point: "what should you do???"
give her a similar card in return or just let her know that you appreciate her effort by a thank you note. that's it just wait for her next move now. dont get over excited about this incident and start boasting about it to your friends or even think too much about it. coz if in the end it turns out that she is just interested in friendship then you will feel very embaressed.

Well, the friendship gesture is nice. She is trying to make an effort to show you that she likes to hang around with you. If you really like her you will probably be spending time trying to figure how to tell her. You should make a gentle gesture of friendship back, like a cute e-card or a lunch date. Just take it slow until you know it's for sure she likes you, but don't be to shy!!!! Go 4 IT!

Gentleman would reciprocate any such action. So it is up to you.

No harm having a friend any where but most important thing is to stay focus on the studies, there is time for every thing and every thing has its time. By all means give her a card, if you like but you both are in college to study. Both should be focused, to that end, this is the life time opportunity, to study, study hard then play if you must. Show this to her, if you like.

Sounds like she likes you as a friend for now, girls don't really think going to the mall with a guy is serious. Unless she flirts with you I don't think she's really into you.

this indicates that she loves u . as u said that u had spent 4hrs with her in mall , no girl likes to be with a guy if a guy doesn't undestands her. now to undestand her more start chating with her on phone.

She obviously wants to be with you, but doesn't want to "weird out" your friendship. If you like her, make the first move and step up to her. She's not going to do it for you.
