How many wondrous works did the prophets and Jesus perform?
Seems odd to believe in all of that without belief in magic,
seems even more strange to believe that all magic is evil if the best of the best performed some of it!

What is 'the devil', 'anti-God'? If it is possible it has to be from God, that's the beauty of existence and everyone loves life right? Even if chris angel is attempting to bring about the End of the World he would need our help along with our cooperation. I doubt his magic tricks could do it all by his lonesome, although he did this cool thing with a couple near an anniversary and a long hallway in a hotel or somewhere, neither here nor there. Anyway, you see my point about life, just know what you do and enjoy the blissfullness of ignorance.

ok, illusion-type magic aside. No, magic/magick is not in any way evil. The christian church has more evil in it than the people who practice magic/craft/magick, LOL. Besides, they don't believe in satan anyway, therefore cannot be satanic. Also, those who practice, believe that whatever they give/do comes back to them times three.......and trust me, no person who believes that would be stupid enough to put something evil out there just to have it come back to them three times as bad.
Listen to you're heart. You wouldn't have asked the question if you didn't already feel in your heart that what the church has told you doesn't make sense.

Magic is only of the material world. Christ had to display some miracles just to attract the insincere folk who just wouldn't accept his message without some miracle. Many people are in awe of magic such as levitating or making something appear. It has nothing to so with God. One who is taken by magic is on the subtle material platform. It can actually be an obstacle to spiritual advancement. Go to www.stephen-knapp for higher truths

Yes, real magic is of the devil. Well at least it is frowned upon by God. Read Galations 5:19-21. There are also several verses in the Old Testament.

There is nothing Evil about magic unless the people using it do so for Evil. Also I am almost certain that the one you call the Devil and Satan does not exist.

firstly, the vast majority of the magic of people such as Chris Angel and David Blaine are still illusions... some of it is just *REALLY* damn good, and some of it is bordering on being "helped" by psychic abilitys and such, but none of it that I've seen is entirely and absolutely beyond the scope of illusion.

but REAL magic, sorcery and such is NOT neccesarily evil. its a tool.

I don't know whether u care what Islam says or not, since this question is for all, yes magic (not the one on TV) is satanic. It is mentioned in the Quran, the storey of Prophet Solomon son of Prophet David,
Satans were trying the teach people magic.
These were the words.

naw ... not even "real" magic can be considered evil by Bible believers since Moses did the same "turn the staff into a snake" trick the Pharaoh's magicians did.

believe it or not, Chris Angel's magic is just as fake as the rest of them. He is just very talented and presents it so well.

Magic does not exist.
