I've had a lot of people tell me about this triune God thing, and i just don't understand how they can interpret the scriptures to make it look like there isn't one God, but three, but they are all still one....Thus the whole Triune thing. I know Christ does seem to refer to something else in the scriptures throughout his life, such as when He was being crucified Exclaiming to His father that they know not what they are doing, and to have mercy on those who were torturing Him so. I am not saying that it is a translation error, because it comes up far too many times throughout the four gospels to just be ignored as such, however I understand that i am but a feeble human that don't understand the mind of God, and probably never will durring my time here on this earth. If there is something about God's mind that I can't understand in my mortal state, I have faith that it will all be revealed to me in the afterlife. Can anyone give me some input here?

Of course not! The reason is that Jesus is the Son of God and the second person of the Holy Trinity, therefore within the one God who is Triune. And yes, God always reveals Himself to His children. He died for us that we may live in the eternity with Him. So if you have not come into the Truth before your death, then I am sure with all of my heart that Jesus will reveal Himself then so that you will come to believe at the final moment. That is how Merciful our Loving God is. He wants no one in Hell. That is why He died on the Cross. So do you think He will not do everything He can to get every soul in Heaven? We put ourselves in Hell by being obstinate to the end and refusing to acknowledge the Truth.

These are a few ways I have explained the Trinity. Maybe one will help you understand.

When John the Baptist was baptizing Jesus, The Father said from Heaven "This is my Beloved Son in whom I Am well pleased." And the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus in the form of a dove, So in that one event, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit were all present at the same time in the same place.

Take an egg, a yolk and an eggshell. All three are all parts of one egg and together they make one egg.

Take water from the same source. Boil part of it to make vapor or steam.. Freeze part of it to make ice. leave part of it as water in the vessel. All three forms of the same water are still water in three different forms that were all originally the same water.

St. Patrick of Ireland liked to explain the Trinity by taking a three leaf clover and pointing out that each leaf of the clover appeared to be a separate leaf but was connected to the other two and really all part of one clover.

Think of God. His Mind is the Father, His Word is the Son, and His Power is the Holy Spirit. The Father thought it, the Son said it, and the Holy Spirit did it. Yet God Himself thought it, said it and did it.

Even though the Holy Trinity is a mystery that is very difficult to fathom with the human mind, it is just on of those things we must take on Faith. It is our faith that will be our saving Grace.

It's been a while since I explained this concept. So here goes again.

The Father is God he is all the God that there is. The Son (Jesus) is God He is all the God there is. The Holy Spirit is God and again all the God that there is. This is best understood by the mortal mind by looking at Creation. God has reveled Himself to us there as well as in the Bible. The dimension of space are height, width and breadth. Each of these dimensions is infinite and by that definition each contains all space. Yet these dimension make
up one space. God is like that each is God all the God that can be because He is infinite yet these three are the One true God... Jim

Jesus Christ is God, Because God is 100% God and 100% man and 100% Spirit. Think of an apple...you have the skin, the flesh and the seed. if you seperate the skin from flesh you still havve apple right? if you take the flesh from the (core) seed you still have apple flesh and if you just take out the seeds you have apple seeds. All of it is an Apple. God is three in one like an apple Father (seed) Son (flesh), and Holy Spirt (skin). No one will ever know the mind of God, but he reveals himself to us little by little through this life on earth, He wants a relationship with us not a religion. we couldn't handle knowing all he knows, just like a two year old couldn't handle the knowledge of a parent. Hope that helps.:)

Jesus is Gods son, the holy trinity is bogus, and Jesus was put on a torture stake, not a cross. If you have any questions you can refer the New World Translation, or the Reasoning of the Scriptures book. You can pick these publication up at any Kingdom Hall.

The Holy Trinity; God The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost. We cannot understand how Gods' mind works because He is after all, God. But you are right, everything will be revealed to you at the appropriate time. The Father is in the Son, the Holy Spirit is in all who ask to receive it, from the Father.

People only see the Father as God, not the Son or the Holy Spirit. But first we have to define the word 'God' and see why Jesus and the Holy Spirit is also 'God'. God is not a name but a title, like Dr., Mr., Professor.... and what the meaning holds. God= Omni - Omni-potent, Omni-present and Omni-science. Non other is like or liken unto the Omni - God. So not only the Father, but the Son and the Holy Spirit falls into that catagory.

No you won't go to hell for that belief. But I believe there is a Godhead, three separate and distinct beings that all function together. They are "One in purpose." Jesus is God's Son, and since we are all God's children, He is our eldest brother. Then there is the Holy Ghost. You're right, there are too many references in the scriptures to there being a Trinity to not be true. But belief in at least one God is much better than those who believe in none, and if you haven't been taught any different in your life, I don't believe you'll be held accountable for what you didn't know.

I understand what you are saying!!!! First of all there is two types of trinitarians, economic trinitarian and a person who believes in the triune of the trinity. How do you know what the bible says and interpet it without translating it incorrectly.Study to show thyself approved. DO NOT TAKE MANS WORD FOR ANYTHING!!!!!! Jewish people who believe in the old Testement can't understand most christians because of the Trinity. The Jews are monothestic. The belief in one God. The concept of trinity was introduced in the 4th century. Read Deuteronomy 6:4......you will see that the entire old Tesament is filled will monothestic outllook....even in isaiah its says that for unto us a child is born( The child is Jesus) and for unto us a son is given ....and His NAME shall be called Wonderful,Counselar,The MIGHTY GOD,THE EVERLASTING FATHER........Who was Jesus....not a mere man but Emmanuel which means God with us....Jesus means Yahwah saves or Jehovah savior.Jesus is God manifested in the flesh.........take this example. I am a Father and I am a Son.Im the same person.Just titles of who I am.Jesus is the I AM of the Old Testament.Because they where just titles.......Jesus is His name.In Acts chapter 4:12....no other name was given among men whereby we must be SAVED. Is is important to know who Jesus is. Even jesus when telling the Disciples to baptize...He told them to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son,and of the Holy Ghost. All three where titles. The name was in singular form. That name was Jesus. In Acts chapter 2:38.Peter with the agreement of the other disciples they baptized in the name of Jesus.Later in the 4t century they changed this doctrine. Don't take my word for it.Pray about and study!

Christ is God. He was a spirit of God before he became man. It's like also, if your family name is Smith when you were born, then your father must be the original Smith.
If you do not believe now in Jesus Christ, it can never be given to you afterlife. It is like if you missed your train or your airplane, it is not coming back just for you. because you were given all the time and you blew it. Again, even if you believe in Him and you keep living in sin, I don't think you could be a part of His salvation.

dear johnny
i firmly believe that you will not go to the hell because you believe in Jesus lord but also that it depends on your believe in his the holiest name and his loving for whole world . Jesus Christ our Savior accepted to suffering in holy cross for the whole siners and he raised from death and destroyed the hell and gave us new faith and grace am mercy and more chance to back the glory life so if you believe in the all of that since then you Will go to the heaven and live ever life in his kingdom where no painful or more death , but if you are doubtful in his name and his love then you would go to hell that i don't wish that for you and for the whole people in the world . so listen to god words by the holy bible and pray for him talk with him ask him to help you to grand a new truth about him and stay as real Christianity in your couple life in full faith and believe and you don't listen for anybody else . may Jesus Christ and the holy spirit are being with you and with your family.
