Tell your parents or who ever is responsible for you. You may have a serious problem going on. You gave a very breif description. But if it has been going on for more than a day, you should get medical treatment right away. Sometimes gas pains will be very sharp, but they go away & don't last very long.

Logically, you should rate your pain level when this is happening. For example is it a 4 from 1-10? If so, that's not to bad. If it is a 9 and the worst pain you have ever experienced, then you have to go to a doctor immediately! Again, the severity is key here. If you are unable to function when going through this, you obviously could have numerous possible ailments that even a dr wouldnt want to diagnose with such a short description. Do you have any other symptoms? I would recommend WEBMD or another website like that to narrow down what it could be and then you will know what to do about it. Just pursue it to be on the safe side. And a final note, a trusted adult should be told that knows you. If you cant talk to anyone, tell a friend.

Stomach pain or bellyache may be caused due to a problem in the organs in the abdominal region. The main organs in the abdomen are the digestive system consisting of the stomach, small and large intestines, the liver, the gall bladder , pancreas, the appendix and the kidney. Minor problems like gastroenteritis can cause severe pain, while fatal illnesses like cancer may cause only mild pain. Have you gotten your period yet? Or have you ever gotten a cramp before? If not, then what you're feeling is probably a cramp. My cramps last around that long, or longer sometimes. Depending what area you feel these pains in, it could be a different reason. Ask your doctor I guess?

First recommendation is for you to see a doctor!!!
Could be really bad gas but if it's been going on for a few days or longer maybe it could be cysts on your ovaries (if your a girl).
Cysts are usually harmless but can be painful...if a large cysts should burst it will be very painful but usually not life threatening....GO TO A DOCTOR!!

Try to take Ibuprofen- it takes like an half hour for it to kick in, i take at least two a day {one before i go to school and one before dinner} But i only take them when i am on my period and they work. You can get a bottle of 500 of them at wal-mart. And they do work, they are little red round tablets.Good Luck*_*

sharp stabbing pains? Up into your ribs as well? probably gas. Seriously! And it really hurts doesn't it? Wiggle around and try to dislodge it. Don't be afraid to fart......you will feel better!
