All the Metro (or subway or Tube) go to a Depot at night-time. Seeing that most lines don't interact with one an other, the trains go to Depots at either end of their lines. During the night-time period, the lines become major construction sites where men and women work to renovate the rails, tunnels and anything else needed to give you a smooth journey.

They are "in the barn". This means in a yard for that purpose (parking) or service facility.
