I know this hard but u got to support your friend. Also you can make a new friend. This will also give u a chance to get to know this girl.

MAn! first, does your bstfrnd know? if not then you have a problem, you can ask him if he really likes this girl and tell him you like her so much (if that's the case) the problem with that is the girl might get akward if she dated your b-friend then date you. So the think you should do, talk to him tell him you like the girl. or like any typical male ritual..may the best man win.

Sounds like you have a pretty crappy friend, your friend should have more respect for you than that. I wouldn't be mad at the girl b/c he got het first but if he was really your friend he wouldn't have done that to you! I would try talking to him and tell him that you didn't think it wasn't very cool what he done and you think hes a jerk! see what happens from there! Good Luck!

Ask him what his problem is!! he probably thought u didnt have the guts to ask her so he did. yeah Id be upset to. But u dont need to loose a friend over a chick. If she says yes than shes stoopid.

hmm... A "friend" of mine did this to me too. He just showed his true color to you. The fact that he knows and still does something this means that he has absolutely no respect for you. Don't hang out with these people. True friends dont' do this kind of Bull Crap.

you shouldn't fight over a girl and just let him have her you'll get someone way better it happen to me my friend asked the guy i liked out and we didn't talk for three months and now were good friends now trying to get the relationship back long story short there not together and we both fight over him so don't fight over her cause who knows/ you might go to a show and fall in love with someone else and is way hot then her. :) hopefully this will help you don't make dumb mistakes OK

Be his best friend, continue to be there for him, get to know her, let her see how totally awesome you are...and if things go south for them, take her for yourself. He didn't observe the *I got dibs rule* so you can ignore the *don't go out with your friends ex* rule ;)
Also, you may realize she's lame, but you might meet a friend of hers that's way better for you.

Make a fake myspace.com site with his name and pics, and post something where "He" is saying that he's a player and he's gonna totaly play that girl. Then show it to a friend of a friend of the girl. It'll get to her, and she'll drop him, and then you make your move.
