Stress happens, and what is making you sick is your response to it. Suggest you get some stress management counselling and learn some better coping skills. You can't make stress go away, you can only learn to cope with it better than you are.

To answer your question, yes; stress can lead to depression, weight fluctuation, loss of appetite, and basically make you feel like crap. If you're bogged down enough, it can really end up hurting you. Not too long ago I was extremely stressed out with schoolwork, nervous about acceptance with college, my parents weren't really all that stable, and I was always afraid my boyfriend was ready to walk out on me. It was horrible. I never ate, slept awful, got colds and the flu often (I ran down my immune system), and stressed myself into a black hole.
This is what you need to do...
Take a day or two, or a week! and relax.
Bubble baths, long DEEP sleep at night, and doing things that only make you happy. You need to take it easy for a while and begin to fully appreciate all the stress you are throwing onto yourself. I don't think you quite comprehend how negatively stress can effect your body and your health. I learned the hard way, I hope you don't.
Give your body a rest, take it easy, and remember that after this is all done, everything will turn out fine. Sometime in the future, eventually, things will always get better. =)
Keep a smile on a stay optimistic! Good luck.

Yes. I recently got out of a 4 year relationship. Actually, I've been stressed out most of the year over my ex boyfriend. And for a year now, I've been having virus like symptoms. My stomach gets very upset, I throw up, I have to stay home from work and do nothing but lie down, the next day I have diarrhea, and then everything is fine about 24 hours later. I went to a couple different doctors and they both told me it's stress. I even had blood work done as a precaution. My blood pressure is also up. I've been trying to exercise as a stress reliever and to keep my blood pressure down. So, yes, stress can make you sick.

Yes, stress can make you sick. It can also cause some diseases such as Fibromyalgia, heart disease, high blood pressure, and so on.
The thing to remember that it is your parents who got the divorce, not you, so you shouldn't let yourself get stressed out about that.
If your studies aren't going well in college, then try to cut back on a class or two, or try to change your major.
It can definately be stress that is causing you to feel run-down and not hungry, and it can also cause insomnia.
In the evenings, take 3 white candles and light them and put them in a row. Then just sit and watch the flames and let your mind wonder freely. It does help to relax you, and you'll start to feel better soon.
I am disabled and I do have Fibromyalgia, and a lot of stress, and this is what I do. Believe me, it works.
Best of luck to you.

Yes, stress can make you sick. Stress can actually trigger chemical reactions in your body and, over time, be a catalyst in causing a multitude of diseases. The lack of sleep and nutrition are also assisting in this process.
Try to get some counseling about the divorce of your parents. You are not alone. The divorce rate is very high and many are going through just the same thing you are. A divorce does not mean you will be seperated from either of your parents. Look at this as an opportunity for both of them to find rewarding lives.
Start to care for yourself and pamper yourself a little each day. A good stress relieve is to excercise. Take a run or a brisk walk and breathe! Spend a lot of time with friends. Go bowling or do something that will make you laugh and distract you from the stresses in your life. Most of all......TALK to anyone that will listen. There are a lot of caring people out here!!
Good luck and God bless you. Remember....time can cure a lot of things. Be patient and you will see things turn around.

yes it is stress, i know cuz i'm stressed out really bad all the time, and most of what you're describing are the same things i go through. not sleeping well, not wanting to eat, being tired, not feeling well, those are all a part of stress, maybe even anxiety. the best way to not feel stressed is to talk about it, or that what helps me when i feel stressed is i vent to one of my friends, i'm also a smoker and that helps me, but i wouldn't recommend starting. just find relaxing things to do, as hard as that sounds its really the best way to loosen up. if it keeps getting worse i would maybe think about seeing a doctor, cuz it could start to lead to things like panic attacks, i hope that helps, good luck

expensive under pressure, tension is a disease. of path it could make you ill. bypass lower back on your wellness care professional and tell him you recognize its tension. they have drugs for that too... in case you pick to no longer be medicated, (and for stable reason have self belief me) attempt another remarkable tension relieving events to paintings into daily. you're able to stroll or run a mile or 2 each and each nighttime, or swimming is likewise particularly effective and stable on your physique. additionally, spend some QUIET time with your self. For an hour each and each nighttime as an occasion, twenty minutes if thats all you have have been given....turn each thing off and close your eyes and empty your ideas. i assume it would be something like meditating. you could't help a great style of the flaws that are happening on your existence, so al the tip of the day in basic terms enable all of it bypass and attempt to sleep. yes....stress can make you extremely sick. Stress can even make your body physically sick, such as hives. You need to start writing down your feelings, and talk to someone who can help you. It is difficult dealing with these things on your own. If you don't feel like a doctor, then talk to friends, or join a support group. You aren't the only person to feel the way you do. Just calm down, and try to get it out.

Sounds like the stress is causing you some depression. Am i right?
The best things you can do is : Take care of yourself, talk to friends or a counselor. Do nice things for you and for others, find something to laugh about, lots and lots of rest and just let it go stop worrying and let your fears go to god. Good luck..
