When atheist criticize they do it out of hurt because they were raised and some are forced into religion and sadly not the right one and they put on their focus on people and not God. They have never experienced him but yet they say he doesn't exist which is a easy cop out and a excuse to falsely antagonize believers. They are weak minded individuals on a destructive path trying to take others with them. Does this sound familiar? A Demonic entity is trying to do the same thing! Hmmmmmmm.............

Shalom

We criticize those who can't spell. Your question should read:

Why do you atheists criticize everyone else opinion?
Nothing offensive please.
I mean I know some Christians have strong opinions, but does this sound familiar?
"It's amazing people believe this.
How stupid are people to believe in God?"
I want to know why people are 'stupid'? I think this an unfair criticism. And why do you think God doesn't exist?
I want good answers not offensive ones.

Unless you can spell and use correct grammar, you are going to get the so called "offencive 1's" because if God exists, he might be able you help you in your spelling lessons.

For the most part, can you prove that God does exist? Science has proved the non-believer part, yet you are asking atheists, who actually believe that they are part of the divine. You are a little confused there. Science has proved that the Earth was created by a mass explosion of positive particles and negative particles. People say that God will come down himself when we are killing ourselves off, however, how many deaths will there have to be? Have you read the Bible cover to cover rather than jumping around to the scriptures that they tell you to read in church?

If you feel that their criticism is unfair, just don't read their responses.

Everyone criticizes everyone's opinions about everything. And that's exactly the way it should be. I do agree that it's not a good thing to insult people just because you disagree, and I'm guilty of this myself, of course. But is this something that only applies to atheists? Give me a break! The only reason you think atheists are so horrible in this respect is because of the irrational taboo against criticizing religion that doesn't apply in other areas. Are you going to scold republicans and democrats for criticizing each others opinions next?

Why do you christians criticize everyone elses opinion?
Not trying to be offensive. Just trying to make a point.
Some Christians, not all labeled me a communist because Im an atheist. They try to say christians=capitalism=good=progress and Atheists=communism=bad=backwards.
Its the same with your problem, some atheists may say things like that but not all of them!I have many reasons why I dont believe in specifically your god. Why him and not allah, etc. What makes him true and others false. Why is it that other religions are made up while yours is real? I simply dont want to take sides with a cultural religion that may all be false. Also, I dont believe in the supernatural. I believe all ideologies are man made!

It is kind of amazing that we haven't gotten past religious superstition yet. Personally, I don't think that religious people are stupid, just horribly deluded when it comes to religion. They've been indoctrinated in it since birth. Once you break out of religious superstition, it becomes so clear that you do wonder how people can actually believe that stuff. It takes a while to realize that such superstition comes naturally to people.

When you first become an atheist, you tend to rebel against your past beliefs. After you get over the anger of being duped, you tend to just be disgusted by those who can't see reason. Eventually, you realize that those people do have reason, but they just have blinders on when it comes to religion.

Most people, from the most zealotous Christian to the most ardent atheist, really are more the same than different. There are certain issues that we disagree on, but most issues we're in agreement.

That said, I do see religion as having a net negative affect on society. It promote faith over reason. It says to follow your leaders without question. It also teaches that everybody outside your group is evil, especially those who don't believe in any gods. Many profess that they teach "love thy neighbor", but in reality that goes only so far as they can convert someone. After that, it's back to "an eye for an eye", "throwing pearls before swine", and other cliches.

I've heard plenty of criticism from the religious side too. "How can you not believe in God?" or "People that don't accept God as their savior are going to rot in hell." It's not just the atheists. I stick to the philosophy that even if I don't agree with something, I'm not going to act hateful towards a person that does. More people need to keep their rude opinions to themselves, whether they are atheist or religious.

Well, just because I don't believe in a personified god with a consciousness doesn't believe I am not moral.
Of course criticsims phrased taht way are unjust.
Please do not generalize me in with such people.
When I was three and one half years old, I realized that Santa could not exist because it took me three hours just to trick or treat in my apartment building and the houses near by.
Deep down, I believed my cousins to be stupid for believing, even though they were much older than me. I never was mean, never said word. Who cared if they seemed stupid? They were happy, and I wasn't about to ruin it for them, let alone call names.

Why do you Christians generalize?
I don't criticize anyone for their beliefs...
I don't believe in religion the same way that you think the Celts, Druids, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans were crazy to believe in their religions and the same way in a few thousand years people will think Christians were crazy.

I'm not an athiest, but I do get frustrated with some Christians who get nasty and/or obnoxious, and those who make statements that either misrepresent others or show a genuine and deliberate misunderstanding.
