My answer would be Adam and Eve but I would have to explain why. First of all there is evolution which you suggested and creationism. From biblical thought we did not come from apes and from a biblical point of view.In Genesis the bible says that Man was made from the ground and then woman was taken from man. From evolution point of view even Darwin renouced his own work. The work of evolution is theory and creationism is about faith.many can argue that there is facts to prove their side which ever it is. But i stand on the bible and claim Adam and Eve.

God created Adam and Eve so they are our ancestors. I don't know why people think we came from monkeys. If we came from monkeys then why aren't we coming from them today? I mean you know scientist have monkeys in cages do experiments on them, so how come they haven't seen any monkeys turn into a human??? There is no proof that we came from monkeys and there never will be, cause we didn't come from them.

Neither. Present day humans and chimpanzees are both descended from a common ancestor that lived about 6 million years ago. There was one man, and one woman, whose genes we all share, but they never saw each other -- they lived 250,000 years apart. Incidentally, the theory of evolution is now proved, so it is correct to speak of the fact of evolution.

If the read the bible and belive God.
You know what is the truth.
God created Adam & Eve
He also created the chimpanzees
Do we look like them??
I don't think so, if so we would not be human and be chipanzees

Neither, because the Bible defines itself as "allegory" in both "covenants": Galatians 4, and as "mystery" over 20 times in the New Testament.
Such does not invalidate the Bible, which is the manual required to find "escape" of "no escape" or "escape"; And not just individually, but globally. And by escape I don't mean rapture nor resurrection, but reconciliation, global reconciliation.
