Usually I don' t like to do this but I WILL answer you lot now. And I am at a loss as to whom to give the points to because two of you combined got it right.
Here it is...
It WAS the titanic. If the weather had been... snowing, the iceberg would have been visible, because of the snow sticking to it, instead of clear.

The night was clear, but freezing. The ship hit an iceberg. If the weather was warm enough for rain, the ice wouldn't have been there.

the meal they ate made everyone sick and they all rushed to the same side of the ship to puke tipping the ship over. if the weather had been worse less people would have felt like eating and not as many people would have ran to the rail
