The short answere would be yes. But I feel that I have witnessed several wiccan ceremonies and knew several wiccans, I myself am an Independant Universalist type, that isn't "just" wiccan. I would say that these "success" stories or spells are all in the way you see results.... There's all kind of levels to their success. I have seen things that can not be explained by science or man. I believe in the power of the mind, body and soul and have no doubt that it manifests itself into the world, regardless of how you exert or ritualize that force. Remember it's not the "spell" where the "magic" comes from, it's within YOU. People look for miracles from God, and sometimes from wicca.....and others..... I believe that the universe is ready to give you anything your "ready" for...and deserving....all you need to do is step forward toward it with your mind, body and soul....but most importantly with an honesty of self....regardless of the way....it'll come in some fashion or form....or you won't really need it. Wicca, to me was a ceremonial way to address the universe of my wants, passions, blessing, love, etc.... everything that came out of it is not just magick....it's little miracles...it's the blessings of life. If you're looking for levitating objects, fire in your hand, or spells to win the lottery...you're off course...Wicca is alot more than this... Look for it to change YOU more than it changes your outside universe. Then work on the outside. You'll witness the "wierd" stuff ON THE WAY OF your journey.

Yes. I can't say what's actually worked, because part of magick is the ability to be silent about it, but I have had things work.
I have also thought of/wished for things that have happened within two weeks - not even cast a spell for them, just wished for them. For instance, I've had two female black cats that died very young (one was hit by a car, the other ate sewing thread and died in surgery). Consequently, I feel the absence of a black cat very strongly in my life, especially when Halloween comes around because, well, I'm a witch. The beginning of this month I spent a lot of time simply missing having a black female cat and wishing I had one (I have two cats and a third is not really an option, but that doesn't keep me from wishing I had one). I even spent a lot of time on petfinder "just looking". A week and a half ago my mother said a completely black kitten showed up on their doorstep, and it's a girl.
I also spent the latter part of May wishing I could spend more time with my boyfriend, because we worked different hours and weren't getting much quality time together. In the beginning of June my apartment was infested with cockroaches and I had to live with him for just over two weeks until the landlord fixed it. Which taught me that I should be much more specific when I wish for things.
Those are just two examples. If you feel it's coincidence, that's your prerogative. You'll never convince me that it is.

Yes, my spells have worked. If they didn't, why spend 13 years doing them?

it works... but often not in the ways you expect (or necessarily want). Avoid spells about money and love; you're going to get all sorts of old business thrown at you before you get to the "new."
