Boyfriend and Girlfriend are titles showing status of relationship. I believe the only time these titles should be used is if you are in a commited relationship and both parties agree to see each other monogomously. Outside of that, you are friends with benefits.

Well, for a woman a girlfriend is a good friend who she shares her time with. However, a boyfriend would be considered a person whom she is intamte with, goes on dates with, also he would be a publicly known "boy friend." If he does not fall into the all of the above catagories, then he is just a friend.

Call her your girlfriend. If she slaps you, you were just friends. If she blushes and kisses you, you found a girlfriend. When you get older you'll learn that anything under a 6 month time frame is a fling.

If you are hugging and kissing on the lips, you are boyfriend and girlfriend. If you are hugging and kissing on the cheek you are just friends.
