What if the cow had heart problems he could have had bad artires and then I develop mad cow!!
What if he had a prostate problem then my sex life in trouble
What if he died from smoking then my lungs might explode
Just can;t go around eating from any dead cow

Have you heard the true story that happened a while ago in the cold reginons of the world.
Here is how it goes.
A plane was flying near arctic or antarctic don't remember exactly. And It crushed into an ice or a mountain and some of the passengers dies while a few others managed to survive.
Everything was ok untill all the food from the plane disappeared while the survivors consumed it. Guess what no help has been around for some time and people start to get to starve.
Well it sounds gross but there were some human bodies kept fresh in the coldness of the weather.
And an idea came from one of the survivors,as they have to survive for the future, to start to eat the dead bodies.
Many objected, But after a day or so all started to eat the dead passengers bodies.
Here comes the most tragedic part one of the passenger's wife was dead and there was an agreement not to touch her. But all the bodies with no immediate family was gone, and the only one left was this guy's wife body.
Guess what they did, they decided to survive, and so did he.
So a Dead Cow steak compared to a human?
You got the answers yourself.

All Steaks are from cows that died. But if it just died then you couldn't be sure what it died from. Could be something that could harm you so no I wouldn't.

no, unless you find out more on why the cow died, of age? sick?
if it died in any trauma or stress it will not taste good because of adrenalin in the meat, and that can also make it tough. i wouldnt waste my money or to the trouble of having him processed. been there done that.

lol, I dont think I would. If it just died then it would have had to be from like disease or old age I think... Wouldnt want to eat a old or diseased cow!

You need to take it to a reputable processing plant and they will call in their Veterinarian/inspector. Time is of the essence and of course it depends on why the animal died.

No, but then again I'm vegetarian so my opinion probably doesn't count.
A message to AW- animals that come to slaughter dead, diseased, dying or diabled are not used for human comsumption, however they are often used in our everyday pet food.
