Yes. We do and have done so.

Now, the really sad thing is that you can judge the lack of science education of people by whether or not they believe the 'radiation killing people' BS.

The sad fact of the matter is that the human health hazards of metallic uranium are well known and can be easily researched on the Internet. Sadly you appear not to be smart enough to do so.

And as a result you believe any stupid thing you are told.

the cancer rate my be up but the uranium used give of less of a dose than they would get from holding a piece of granite half the size of the shell so i near defiantly haves no thing to do with that i do we educated in a radiological sense you would no this and if the shells were that bad the crews using the would be ill think abould it!!!

Yes, depleted uranium is used to make shells heavier so they can penetrate armour - unfortunately they are also radioactive - see all the stuff from the first Gulf War on the Internet.

Thousands of Iraquis and hundreds of US servicemen are dying of radiation/uranium poisoning.

BTW uranium dust is poisonous (as it is a heavy metal) even if it isn't radioactive.

Where have you been they've been doing it for years. No-one wants innocent people to die, but lets face it a damn sight more were dissapearing off the face of the planet into mass graves. or left to die in prisons without being charged. Why don't you think these people have the same right to live in a country where they can air their views, without being executed, like you are so obviously taking for granted.

First, it is *depleted* uranium and not radioactive. It is used in saboted armor-piercing tank rounds and as shells in aircraft Gatling-cannons (30mm, I believe).

The widespread claim is that these rounds vaporize the heavy metal when they pierce armor, and this creates a deadly and toxic cloud that kills people.

What's less widespread is any significant level of evidence or proof to support this claim.

I know you are a raving loon who hasn't a clue as to what you are trying to whine about. The depleted uranium rounds are in Bradley Fighting Vehicles, not tanks.

Education is an amazing thing, allow me to suggest you get some before posting next time. TYIA.

I think they should add more uranium tank shells, also bring back napalm, and mustard gas.
