Nothing flammable is supposed to be carried anywhere by USPS. You could try FedEx ground or UPS ground as alternate shipping methods but is very doubtfull as lighter fluid is flammable. If the lighter is empty, that should not be an issue, provided it has never been used. Best to ask questions with the carrier before trying to ship it. Best of luck.

The folks down in Oz might be a little behind the times, but believe me, they can get the fluid easy enough. Just send the lighter, forget the fluid.

You can't send flamable liquids through the mail HERE (in the US) so it doesn't matter if you can send it through Australian mail. Send the lighter, the fluid is almost certainly available in Australia.

Why would you mail lighter fluid? don't they have any there?

Just send the lighter, for cryin' out loud. They can buy lighter fluid there, I'm sure. Or do you want the fluid to accidentialy spill out, soak the box and go "kaboom" when some airport baggage handler takes a cigarette break while unloading a plane?...

Ronsonol is now discontinued and the the possibilities are the Zippo type lighter gasoline, or VM&P Naphtha, which will be more cost-efficient in line with ounce and accessible contained in the paint branch of any ironmongery save.

Post Office always asks me if something is flammable inside the package, I would guess "legally", no.
