well first of all for anyone saying that this is not happening i would like to let u know that this is not the only place in which this has happened and sadly it probably will not be the last .
in my opinion this should concern to all even if u have nothing to do with the issue . the government is not respecting the law they are doing the same in a lot of situations . they do not longer fallowing the rules which are there for a reason (so you as a person are not abused and mistreated by your own government ) . what happened to those immigrants could happen to almost anyone .
not so long ago in the news they showed how they entered a home and started shooting when a person who was sleeping turn around scared and confused . they killed the guy and then found out that they had entered the wrong house . what an excuse , what a mistake which coasted the life of someone , of someone who was an exemplary member of society , because he was . he used to work every day , used to pay his taxes and never caused any problem to anyone .
could this ever happen to you ??? it could happen to anyone if we do not start asking the government to put into effect the laws which all Americans accomplished .

This was ask in an earlier question. The facts are very distorted, and misleading.Don't be so sure that you are getting the whole story and not a few facts mixed with rhetoric from the source of this story. This group is almost like the ACLU and they cant be believed all the time. There are conflicting stories on what actually happened and how it happened. Before I believed this
story Id want to see it from a more reliable source.I'm not saying that a raid didn't occur,I'm only asking for a less biased source for the story.
This is from an answer from the other question about this same incident I hope Lady Sable doesn't mind me posting it here.
Quote
She said she had unlocked the door thinking her mother was returning home and found instead several agents in her house
End quote
Was she outside then? If she unlocked her door and found them inside then she must have been outside of the house.
I'm pointing this out only because this is a statement that the defense attorneys will have a field day with.
Actually, when you open your door to a Federal Agent, that is as good as inviting them in.
Quote
one of whom had his hand on a holstered gun.
End Quote
Any time that a Federal Agent or Police Officer approaches a suspect, their hand is always on a holstered gun. This is for their own protection. There would be a problem if the weapon was drawn and pointed at the suspect.
Based on the story, the agents were lead to this home by company records. Most likely they were harboring illegals. This is why they were "raided". Harboring an illegal is - well, ILLEGAL.

It's probably true. Georgia is the state with the fastest growing population of illegal aliens. They are screaming about it over there. If you watch closely, you will see news reports of ICE counting the number of arrests they have made. They have been raiding more than usual this year around here. I really think they got pressure from congress because of all the citizens yelling and screaming about it. They also could have gotten pressure from Bush so he could show that something was being done before the elections. That would help his party.

Ethnic profiling is a touchy subject, it is like if their was a gang shooting in a major metropolitan city, would the police be checking every White,Hispanic, or Asian they see to if they can find any evidence they are associated with the Bloods or the Crypts ?
If the story is true then ICE made a mistake, but on the other hand if ICE dillyed around for to long, they could loose any suspected criminals. Things like this would not happen if the public would help give more information to ICE.
ICE is not here to police the citizens, but to seek and deport illegals.I do belive ICE will become way more effective towards the future.

I am sure this story, as usual , is blown way out of proportion. If this city is like mine, I can point to the area where all of the illegals live. If I were to go door to door searching for someone I would be hard pressed to find anyone that didn't have brown skin.
It would be accurate to say then that I did not question anyone but "brown" skinned people. It would also be accurate to say that there wasn't anyone other than "brown" skinned people to question.
Very easy to distort the truth just by leaving a few facts out.

I can't believe ICE went into peoples homes when all they have to do is park on a street corner and pick them up, or go to any factory and they are their by the thousands, I think their is more to the story then is being reported, that law and poverty gr. is just like the ACLU, corrupt and want open borders. Don't worry they will sue and get millions, and live happily ever after.

Look all the time people are going to protest about something or the other, now is up to the courts to proof is this allegations are true or not. Now we have to wait and see the results, let not start jumping into conclusion before the finding of the courts. This is the USA and if they are right the courts will decide that, not the media. The illegals also claims that the Americans are prejudices because they don't want them here in the USA and they march and offend the Americans, you saw this marches in the TV news. Were they right? I don't think so. So you see they are trying to do everything in their mind to see us, the Americans as evils and if you help them well that's another American in their favor. I hope not...Good luck..

Why is it that things like this happen?
People agree it's wrong to suspect that Arab's are terrorists just because of their ethnicity.
Whenever racial profiling happens to a black person it's all over the news.
So why, when this happens to Hispanics, does it seem acceptable?
That's not reasonable or fair!

i do no longer understand any of my dad's conflict memories yet he did tell me that the burning flesh of the folk he had killed via calling in an airstrike became undesirable. He additionally does not like fireworks the two. i think of there are some distance worse memories that he could tell me, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it would harm him.

Thats horrible! No one deserves to be harassed by the government. If the govt is breaking the law, then they must pay.
