"For by grace are you saved, by faith (trust), and that not of yourself it is the gift of God not of works, lest anyone should boast." Eph. 2:8&9

-my Jewish people once were afraid of being thrown out of the synagogue so they refused to be baptised-Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments-yet as the thief on the cross who was never baptised-and truely saved -to be in paradise as Jesus said that day.

Today some get baptised over and over every time they sin thinking they will get saved again.

If you cant earn salvation-then it is a free gift-Just repent as he says and be born again-you cant get unborn from your mom or from God. and its a free gift-you cant pay for it you cant work for it-you cant get baptised for it

baptism tells the world that you are saved-it is the outward expression of what Jesus has done-it doesnt wash away your sins-Jesus precious blood did that when you asked him into your heart and got saved-your life changed and then baptism-what do you say?TY

Salvation by faith is an invention of Paul. Jesus never taught such a thing--Paul did. Paul made up the deity of Jesus and the "plan" of salvation. By Paulist standards, salvation is not necessary, only being "born again" by accepting the gift he made up.
It is no surprise that churches are constantly changing Jesus's message and pretending baptism is necessary. The church has been inventing and changing things since Paul's time.

Salvation is gained through grace through faith... being baptised God commandment for you to show the rest of the world that you have washed away your formal, sin filled life and you have trusted in him. you can gain salvation without baptism

You made a lot of points. Let me try to address some of them.

Yes we are saved by grace through faith and not of ourselves, but baptism is not a work that we came up with ourselves, it is a commandment of God. In fact, the Bible never calls baptism a "work", but it is submission. (Belief is called a work - John 6:29 and repentance is called a work - Jonah 3:10) We submit to letting someone else dip us into the water and we submit to the authority, the Lordship, and the commandments of Christ. Making Christ "Lord" of our life is more than calling him that, but it is submitting to his will and commands. (Matt 7:21) Obeying Christ is necessary for salvation (Heb 5:9). Even Ephesians 2 that you cited talks about the type of works we are to obey (we are created unto good works - verse 10).

Salvation can't be earned, but we must submit to God. It's like telling someone to put their name on a piece of paper and put it into a basket because there would be a drawing for a free car. No one would say if I have to write my name and put the paper in the basket then the car is not free but earned. The car would indeed be free to the winner, even though they had to follow the rules to enter the contest. Salvation is free, but God has told us what we must do to accept the gift. There is nothing we can do to earn it, but that does not mean there is no condition we must meet.

Where in the New Testament after Jesus rose from the dead and gave the command about baptism does it say that baptism is just an outward expression that you are already saved? Where is the example of someone being saved by asking Jesus into their heart?

Acts 2:21 says that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, but what does that mean? It does not just mean saying "Lord" as seen in Matt 7:21. It can't mean just saying a prayer, because Saul had been told to go into the city and he would be told what he "must do" to be saved. In the city he prayed and fasted for three days (Acts 9:9-11). At this time he had not yet been told what he must do and he had not yet called on the name of the Lord. When Ananias came, he told Saul to "be baptized and wash away your sins calling on the name of the Lord" (Acts 22:16). Saul had not called on the name of the Lord (nor had he had his sins washed away) until he was baptized. Calling on the name of the Lord is relying on His authority and doing what He said to do. This was so important that Saul was baptized immediately. He was even baptized before he took food even though he had eaten in three days (Acts 9:18-19).

Jesus said, "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved" (Mark 16:16) What would he have said if he had meant "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved"? I believe he said what he meant and meant what he said. I believe Jesus! "He that believes not shall be damned"! (Mark 16:16)

You have said that that one believes, is saved and then shall be baptized. This is not what Jesus said. This is not the same order!

Jesus said, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOES the will of my Father which is in heaven." (Matt 7:21)

I don't think anybody should be allowed to baptise their baby. I think that child should be able to make that decision later in his/her life if he/she chooses. I was baptised catholic and would never practice that religion. I choose today to believe in a higher power greater than myself...and that works for me.

sure...i believe so. :-( undemanding believism isn't adequate to get you to Heaven. Believing on my own does not ward off. you may want to be born back. Believing on the Lord Jesus Christ isn't being born back. Believing is the prerequisite for being born back. Jesus taught a thanks to be born back. The Apostles taught a thanks to be born back. enable us seem on the first sermon preached in new covenant era it really is Acts. We see the following that this established sermon became preached by technique of the guy that had the keys to Heaven. Peter knew a thanks to get to Heaven. Peter knew a thanks to get kept. Acts 2:37-38 37 Now even as they heard this, they were pricked of their heart, and suggested unto Peter and to something of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter suggested unto them, Repent, and be baptized each and all of us of you contained in the call of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall acquire the present of the Holy Ghost.
