That's funny. but you forgot a part. Before God created Eve he told Adam that he was going to give him the perfect companion. She would have perfect skin, perfect hair, perfect everything. She would be able to do anything and would be very capable of running a government.
Adam replied, "How much will this cost me?"
God said, "An arm and a leg"
Adam thought for a while and asked, "What can I get for a rib?"

God can't just forgive our sins because he is a God of justice. Every sin must be paid for and if he just forgave everybody then he would not be a god of justice. He would be corrupt. Jesus willingly gave himself up for sins. Through him everybody can be forgiven. It's not a free entrance into heaven, you must accept Jesus and follow his teachings or he will reject you. The Old Testament backs up everything Jesus did and the fact that the Messiah was suppose to be the son of God. The Jews did not understand their scriptures and Jesus pointed that out to them.
