Not arguing with facts, but wondering if Jesus HAD BEEN a woman, or CAME BACK AS a woman, would this change your understanding of what Jesus stands for?

To Ha! Invisible!: Didn't Jesus say "there is no Jew or Greek, there is no slave or free, there is no woman or man" all are equal in God's eyes? Why couldn't Jesus be the woman and the church be the groom?

Wouldn't make a difference to me whether God came down to earth to fulfill His mission, die and be resurrected as He did, as a man or a woman ? Or if He came back as a man or a woman?
God is no respector of persons the book of Romans says in the Bible.
God does not favor men over women or women over men.
God does not favor a person of a certain color, race or nationality over another either.
God is no respector of persons.
It was foretold in the Old Testament that Yeshua, the Messiah, the Savior of the world would be a man.
But to me, it would have made no difference to me.

Well to believe in Jesus is to believe in the bible. I do not think there are people in the world today that believe in Jesus Christ that do not believe in the Bible. Therefore it is clear that Jesus was a man simply because the Bible says he was. It clearly states the Son of God, not the daugther - in about 100 versus. To answer your question, if Jesus where a woman and the Bible clearly stated that, which it does not, then that would have been God's perfect plan and I can not imagine any Christian would care if Jesus where a woman or a man.

Yes. One of the simplest reasons is that the Bible speaks of the second coming of Jesus as being symbolic of a wedding. Jesus is the groom and the church is his bride. There are endless parallels to be found if you learn about the way a marriage took place 2000 years ago. Read the Bible to understand it more fully. Modern society tells us that men and women are identical and that their roles are interchangeable. That is not true. They are EQUAL, but not IDENTICAL.
(call me old fashioned)

It wouldn't but he wasn't so there is no point to saying why or why not.
Of course that would have to include the idea that all the old Testament prophets also said the Messiah would be a woman. God's Word does not lie and does not contradict itself. I am only answering for hypothetical purposes.

Jesus could never be woman. Come on, a tan Jewish woman claiming to be a fisher of men? Would you want a bunch of gentile men following you around after making that statement?

There are many women who are messengers of God. SO it makes no difference to me as long as it is one of Gods Representatives. Mary Magdalene actually became a saint by the association of Jesus. Go to www.essene.org for the truth on Jesus and Mary Magdalene

I belive as all muslims in all prophets. but jesus is a man and came from pure woman called mariam. I think man can carry the messege as a messenger than women. but there is a women better than more men in faith. Allah bonour more women like Mariam and feraon's wife and others.

Well, being the fact that it is well documented that he was a man, and God's only Son. It's not possible to argue against the facts.

it would make all the difference in the world, because the old testament prophecies would all be inaccurate then, making Jesus a false Messiah
