I know my boyfriend has cheated on me, but he has told me he loves me and wants to marry me. He said he would never hurt me again. How could i ever trust him again? Is it true that once a cheat, always a cheat? Are men able to change or is this a lost cause?

yes its quite true i think. everyone that i have talked to or have actually know to have been cheated on the same person has done it again after all the promises. they probably do love you but they cant help but try to see if they can still get the charm going to get someone else to. its hard to find someone that will be up front honest trusting and will never cheat. read tips on love and relationships to help you better on this site

I think it is a lost cause, but if you are going to stay with him, don't marry him right away and when you do go to premarital counsiling to make sure it's the right thing to do.

Also, you either have to forgive him or get rid of him. If you are going to argue about where he is all the time and hold a grudge, get rid of him ASAP neither of you need all that stress. There are men out there that will not cheat on you.

if u went to buy a new car and it broke down during the test drive, and the salesman said "oh, its just a small thing, wont happen again" would u still buy it??? get the pic?

just to be sure.... DUMP him, u dont want to take a chance on that guy. and dump him fast.
