So yeah, my windshield wipers dont work and I live in Honolulu, and it is raining hard here .... and when it rains, it freaking pours. I tried driving but i got one block and couldnt see anything so I had to come home.

I want to know if anyone here knows any way that I can keep my windshield clear in the rain without using the wipers. I am going to go to Walmart to get window wax so the rain will slide off the glass, but do you know any other way or if that way works? Please let me know, cause right now I am stuck.

Tie a string to your wipers and do manual "wipering". For as you pull the string, wiper goes back to its original resting place.

This is better that putting an umbrella in front of windshield.

If you have a sunroof, then you could drive standing up. Make sure you have your raincoat on.

Mine dont work eather so I took a string and tied it to each wiper blade and ran the string inside the two front windows then when it rains all I do is pull the string back and forth and my wipers work just fine! Total cost of the Fix .2 cents

There is only one product that will do what you want. It is called Aquapel and it is made by PPG. You might have trouble finding it in a store, but Google to find the website. You apply to a clean window and it repels water like nothing else. Will last for 6 months to a year before needed to be reapplied. This is the real deal and will do just what you want.

use Rain X,

apply it to the windshield and the rain just beads up and runs off

you will have to replace it every week or two. it is not as good as wipers, but better than nothing

You can do the Rain-X until you get the money together to repair the wiper system. You really need to get it repaired As soon as you can. The Rain-X works great for a while. Not sure how well it works in Monsoon type rain. but I would recommend using it for the short term and get the system repaired as soon as possible.

Rainex the crap out of those windows ! Very effective but be sure to follow the instructions. If it's not done per the instructions your windshield will be cloudy and you'll wind up even worse off.
